Eien
Akers
mma
instructor
Eien Akers has been passionately practicing
all areas of Martial Arts and Self
Defense for the last 13 years. During
this time Eien has served with the
Army Special Operations units, as
well as working as an officer with
the Department of Corrections.
He has been a professional fighter
in Mixed Martial Arts and continues
to compete internationally with Brazilian
Jui Jitsu. |

Eien holds a first degree purple belt
in Brazilian Jui Jitsu, a black belt in
Mixed Martial Arts, and has a variety
of self defense certifications. He is
always more than excited to share his
knowledge and experience with the greater
Chicago community.

FITNESS TIPS:
Get your glutes in gear. Get on the floor on
your hands and knees.
Extend one leg and bend it to a 90-degree angle,
raising it so that your toe points toward the
ceiling.
Bring the leg back down and repeat for 12 repetitions,
then switch to the other leg.
To maximize results, make sure you squeeze your
glutes tight as you do it. Keep it up
and pretty soon you'll be working that backside
into a smaller pair of jeans.
